Residential demolitions (where a custom rebuild follows on the cleared lot), major additions, legal duplex conversions, and commercial alterations are high-ticket GC opportunities tracked the week the city issues the permit. PermitBeat reads every permit Ottawa issues and sends the general contractor jobs to one general contractor company in Ottawa every Monday at 7am — not a shared dashboard, not a national platform.
